Q1.) Which golf club do I become a member of?

A1.) You become a member of Hillside Golf Club in Pretoria North. Hillside is a SAGA affiliated Golf Club and as such you receive an affiliated handicap card from Hillside.

Q2.) Can I play golf at any Golf Club in South Africa?

A2.) Yes, you can play as an affiliated member at all Golf Clubs in South Africa. Please note that some clubs may require you to play with one of their members.

Q3.) How long does it take to get my Official Handicap card?

A3.) Once you have paid your R949 membership fee it will take 4 to 5 weeks to receive your card, via registered mail. Within 24 hours of payment we will email you a proof of Membership letter with your membership number on it. This letter can be presented at clubs to qualify for affiliated rates while you are waiting for your card.

Please note that your annual subs will only be R899 after your 1st year, as your 1st year also includes your new card fee.

Q4.) How long is my membership for?

A4.) Your membership is valid for 12 months from the day you join. So if You Join on 15th April of this year, your membership will end on 15th April next year - unless you renew for another 12 months. We will send you a renewal reminder a month before your membership ends.

Q5.) Can I pay by Credit Card?

A5.) Yes you can by using www.PayPal.com. Please pay Euro 95 or US$ 120 into pay@golfclub.co.za or R949 via www.MoneyBookers.com

Q6.) How often are Handicaps and scores Updated?

A6.) Handicap calculations are run on the 1st day of every month, so updated handicaps will reflect by the 2nd of every month. Scores are updated daily but may take up to a week to display on the system.

Q7.) Can I enter scores online?

A7.) Yes you can enter scores by either swiping your card at the terminal at the club you play at or via http://www.Handicaps.co.za - Click here for a step by step guide to entering scores on the Handicaps web site.
